Vegonia Arqueológica houses the largest and best-preserved residential nucleus of the Upper Magdalena, cataloged as such by archaeologist Héctor Llanos in 1984. More than 112 artificial terraces across 8 hectares coexist with ancient sculptures that were never moved to a museum.
During the guided tour of two trails you will discover cancel tombs, territorial boundary markers, domestic grinding stones, anthropozoomorphic sculptures, and petroglyphic terraces that still preserve rock engravings.
The plan includes everything: lodging, traditional meals, and both guided tours. Just bring comfortable clothes, rubber shoes, and a spirit of exploration.
