Terms of use

1. Acceptance

By browsing this site, requesting a quote or a booking, or using the digital channels of Vegonia Arqueológica, you accept these Terms of use and ourPrivacy Policy (in Spanish). If you do not agree, please do not use the forms or send personal information through the site.

2. Site information

The site presents tourism experiences, lodging, food, guided tours and cultural content of Vegonia Arqueológica. We keep the information up to date, but availability, itineraries, prices and operating conditions are confirmed directly before each booking. A request sent from the site is not, by itself, a confirmed booking.

3. Requests, bookings and payments

• Requests are subject to availability and to express confirmation by Vegonia Arqueológica.
• The applicable prices are those informed and confirmed for the date, group and service requested.
• The deposit is paid via Nequi, bank transfer or cash; the balance, on arrival. The site does not process online payments.
• Visitors must provide truthful contact and request information, sufficient to handle the booking.

Cancellation policy

• The 50% deposit is optional: paying it holds your spot and gives you priority if another request falls on the same date. Without a deposit, your booking is subject to availability.
• Notice of 48 hours or more: the guest chooses between a full refund of the deposit or a free date change.
• Notice of less than 48 hours: no refund; the deposit can be used once to reschedule the visit within the following 3 months.
• If the guest does not arrive and gives no notice, the deposit is forfeited.
• If Vegonia cancels due to weather, public order or force majeure, the guest chooses between a full refund or rescheduling.

4. Visits and safety

Visitors must follow the safety, conservation and respect instructions given by the Vegonia team during each activity. Tours may depend on weather, trail conditions, group safety and reasonable operating decisions.

5. Heritage and content

The sculptures, objects and other archaeological assets are protected by Colombian law. It is not allowed to handle them, alter them, remove any element, enter restricted areas or do anything that may damage them. The photographs, texts, visual identity and other site content belong to Vegonia Arqueológica or are used with permission; they may not be reused commercially without prior written authorization.

6. Permitted use of the site

You agree to use the site lawfully and respectfully. It is forbidden to interfere with its operation, try to access unauthorized areas, send false information, use abusive automated means or use the site for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.

7. Third-party links and platforms

The site may link to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or other third-party services. Each platform operates under its own terms and policies. Vegonia Arqueológica does not control their systems or their data practices.

8. Personal data

Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy (in Spanish). For questions about your data or these terms, write tovegonia.arquelogica@gmail.com.

9. Photos and videos during your visit

Vegonia Arqueológica may take photos or videos of the site and its activities for information and promotion. Where a visitor can be identified, we will only use their image, voice or name with their prior, express and written authorization, given on our Image use authorization form, which states the purpose, channels and duration. This authorization is voluntary, is not a condition for any booking or service, and can be withdrawn at any time. For minors, authorization from their legal representative is required. This material is handled under section 9 of ourPrivacy Policy (in Spanish).

Visitors may take photos and videos for personal use, respecting other people's privacy and the heritage-protection instructions. Commercial use of images of the site or the archaeological pieces requires prior written authorization from Vegonia Arqueológica.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the services, site practices or applicable regulations change. The current version is always published on this page with its update date.
