The Arco de las Jarras is a volcanic rock formation that has become one of the most unique attractions in the Upper Magdalena region. Its name comes from the characteristic shape the rock takes on as it erodes.
The 4-5 hour route crosses Andean forest, water sources and natural viewpoints overlooking the Central Cordillera. Difficulty level: moderate-high. We recommend good physical condition and trekking footwear.
The plan includes an expert guide familiar with the terrain and transportation from Vegonia. Return to the farm for rest and meals.
